Spring Happenings in 5 Photos
I feel like I’ve been on a non-stop whirlwind of activity for the last two months. I finished this semester of grad school (relieved), went on vacation in Atlanta (lovely), and a business trip to Denver (productive).
I’ve finally had time to read some books now that homework is done–I read Lean In by Sheryl Sandberg (which I highly recommend–I laughed, I cried, I learned–please read it) and Eat to Live by Dr. Joel Fuhrman. Both were definitely life-effecting books, and I’m glad I was able to read them now that I have a moment to get back to things I want to accomplish. Now I’m back to reading Death by Black Hole by Neil deGrasse Tyson–whom I’m a huge fan of.
Other things I’ve been up to…
I drank some great Oregonian wine with my friend Alex:
Our store got a new window display, inspiring me to add some more color into my decor:
I finished a knit top (designed by my friend Kristina McGowan) and started a new sleeveless sweater:
I got Meatless from the MSLO crew and Boyfriend Sweaters by Bruce Weinstein for my library:
I started looking ahead to summer cocktails (pro tip: use frozen grapes as ice cubes so you don’t dilute your drink):
Later this summer, I hope to update you with some fun announcements, so look out for those. I’m working on a couple of things that I hope to share with you soon. More later–almost time for Arrested Development.
