Congratulations on your new book, Gramma Nancy!

Back when I was at LB, I enjoyed working with publishers, designers, and fans of yarncrafting on a daily basis. One of the most fun projects of each year was a public design contest, and in 2012, the design contest winner a sharp lady named Nancy Nielsen whose smart hat designs delighted everyone on our staff–as well as the judges of the contest.

After she won the contest, it was my pleasure to hook her up with the lovely folks over at Potter Craft, and her book, Gramma Nancy’s Animal Hats (and Booties, Too!): Knitted Gifts for Babies and Children, just came out! If you’re a knitter who loves cute kids’ projects, you absolutely have to check out this adorable collection.
